What Happens After You DIE?

In Islam, the belief in life after death is fundamental, shaping the faith’s worldview and moral conduct. Upon death, a Muslim’s soul transitions to an intermediate realm called Barzakh, awaiting the Day of Judgment. This day marks the culmination of human existence, where all souls will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds. Guided by divine justice, individuals will face the consequences of their actions, either finding reward in Paradise’s eternal bliss or facing the repercussions of wrongdoing in Hell’s torment. While some adhere to the notion of temporary punishment in the grave for certain sins, the ultimate destiny is determined by one’s faith and deeds. This belief instills a sense of responsibility and purpose, motivating adherents to lead virtuous lives in anticipation of the eternal abode that awaits beyond mortality’s veil.
